While Stewart is all set to helm one episode per week, the rest of the episodes will be hosted by other correspondents from The Daily Show. The current roster includes talented names like Desi Lydic, Dulcé Sloan, Jordan Klepper, Michael Kosta, and Ronny Chieng.
Jon Stewart’s Return and Previous Engagements
News of Stewart's return was made public by the man himself on January 24th. His previous stint as the host of The Daily Show, from 1999 to 2015, was notable for helping to kickstart the careers of several big names in comedy, such as Steve Carrell, Samantha Bee, and John Oliver.
Stewart recently hosted ‘The Problem with Jon Stewart', a show on Apple TV+ that ran from 2021 to 2022. This show was thematically different from The Daily Show, focusing on single-issue topics. Unfortunately, due to creative differences between Stewart and Apple, the show was cancelled.

After the departure of Trevor Noah, the future of The Daily Show was uncertain. However, the show has been successfully running with weekly celebrity guests holding the fort. As of now, no replacement for Noah has been officially announced.
