After 18 years of marriage, Tori Spelling has chosen to part ways with husband Dean McDermott.
On March 29, Tori filed for divorce, following several months after Dean’s now-deleted Instagram post announcing their separation. The divorce comes after 18 long years of marriage, which gave the couple five children: Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau. Alongside these five, Dean has a son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Mary Jo Eustace.
Tori’s mother, Candy Spelling, has stepped forward to express her support for her daughter’s decision.
Despite previous conflict and tension in their relationship, Candy has confirmed that all is well between her and her daughter. The relationship between Tori and her mother has faced some turbulence over the years, but now, standing firm by her side, Candy presents a united front.
The Misspelling Podcast
Shortly after the divorce filing, Tori recorded an episode of her podcast, “Misspelling”. In it, she makes a heartrending call to Dean to inform him of the divorce. Not one to shy away from personal matters, Tori also uses the platform to voice her accusations against Dean.
She accuses Dean of turning to the Daily Mail to divulge personal aspects of their relationship, causing her immense pain.
Previously in an interview with the Daily Mail, Dean admitted to causing “a lot of pain” during their relationship. The confession stands as a painful reminder of their shared past.
